30% off Gap and Old Navy

Nov. 11 -14th Gap, Old Navy, and Banana Republic are offering a coupon for 30% off all in store purchases in honor of their Give and Get Program. And to make it even better, 5% of their proceeds are going towards Big Brothers Big Sisters. From the email message, it looks like it also gives the discount on 1 online purchase too.

I know I have to make it into Old Navy this weekend to exchange one of the coats I just bought. Chances are, I'm going to come home with more than just the right sized coat.

Also thanks to Melissa for sending me a FB message about this one.

Friday's Seize the Deal

Today's deal is for Yakima Tropical Fish and Pet Village $30 certificate for $15.

We recently acquired through CL yet another male guinea pig (he was free and our piggy needed a friend) -so I'm planning on using this to buy pet bedding and piggy treats. It's not good for dog or cat food, but it is great for pet accessories and the like.

I went and visited earlier this week to scope it out. It's not as fabulous as Pet Pantry, but it is a fun store to visit with kids and the prices seemed reasonable.

If you have a pet lover on your gift list, this would be a smart way to go.

Here's the link for Seize the Deal if you don't already have an account:

Yakima Bargains

I've decided to revamp this blog into a Yakima area great deal sharing site. If you know of any great Yakima deals, let me know and I'll post them here.

Right now Old Navy is having a 50% off their outer wear sale which is pretty good.

Two weeks ago they had a small overlap of their online 50% off sale and their facebook 50% off sale. So I scored 3 coats at 75% off. I ordered the cute little girls coat on the left for my daughter for $12.50! I also got the women's wool trench coat for $24.

I am not above shopping at Wal*Mart and I fully take advantage of their price matching policy. To make the deals even better I try to use online and newspaper coupons where I can.

I used to shop at the Terrace Heights store, but I've recently switched to the West Valley Store. It's much less crowded and they are better stocked than the older store.

I plan on sharing some of my favorite price matches and coupon deals each week. If you figure any deals out be sure to let me know!

Yakima Mommy Homepage

I am hoping to start up this blog in order to help spread the word about things of interest to Yakima Moms like: which stores are offering great sales, what you think about different places to bring your kids, and just host a venting sites for those of us trying to figure out home to be a Mom in this day and age.

Hopefully I can get this blog started someday. I have placed it on my to do list... but knowing me, that is more like a death sentence for it =)
